I have been trying to install the WelkinSuite IDE for Salesforce in Mac. It completes the installation process but the App does not appear in Applications or Launchpad. It has added an app named Kdiff3 but not the welkin suite IDE.

Are there any restrictions or version requirements to successfully install the IDE?

      Hi Niranja,

Thank you for contacting us on this.

I kindly ask you to check if The Welkin Suite IDE is present in the following directory: $user/Applications/.
Also, after the first launch, you can find the application using the 'Command + Space' hotkey and it appears in your Launchpad.

We install TWS to the user's 'Application' folder since if the IDE would be installed in the system folder instead of a user's one, there could be issues related to automatical updating the application since not all users could have the appropriate privileges.
Also, The Welkin Suite IDE is related to a user's license, this is why, in a frame of a user's security, it is installed to a user's 'Application' directory.

Hope this helps. In another case, please let me know.

      Thank you,
