Cannot pull changes or create new object today?

    An odd one today- no errors, but if I try and pull changes from salesforce, or create a new object, the progress indicator just stays on screen until I kill it.

    I've tried restarting the IDE, and re-authorizing (oauth) and also tried creating a new project (again, the retrieval never completed)

    Any suggestions?

      Thank you for sharing this issue with us.


      Can you please tell me what metadata types do you have in your TWS project?

      Also, I kindly ask you to reproduce the issue and please send us a bug report directly from the IDE - you can find this functionality in the menu Help -> Report a Bug, please put your email and enable the 'Attach Log File' checkbox. This way we would receive your TWS log files which could provide us with an additional information about a reason for the issue.

        Thanks for replying Kate- it seems to have started working again now, so I guess it was just "one of those glitches" somewhere...

        If it starts happening again, I'll gather the information you requested.

          Thank you for your response and for the update!

          I'm happy to hear that you can continue your working process with the IDE without this issue.


          Looks like this could be caused by some issues in the connection to your org, for example, API limitations (exceeded limits) or other processes in the org, etc.

          Please let us know if this would be reproduced again and we would be happy to detect a reason and find a solution for this case.
