Hi, I'm expreicing massive cpu spikes when I perform consecutive builds. So much so, that I typically have to force-quit the app and restart.
Has anyone experienced this issue?
I have a MacBook Pro w/16GB RAM running OS 10.12.4.
Thanks,
Jeff

Hi Jeff,
Thank you for contacting us with this issue.
Our developers are already working on the investigation the reason for the issue you are faced with.
I kindly ask you to answer the next questions to provide us with additional information:
1. What metadata files are working with? What is the average number of files included in your build process?
2. Does The Welkin Suite IDE hang on the saving stage at the end of the build process? If yes, does it return to the work after some time? If yes again, how long does the IDE hang?
3. Which pads (panels) are open on your TWS UI?
4. Is the CPU increased during the build process itself or right after the build is finished?
5. Are the files that are building open in the code editor? If yes, can you please check if the issue is reproduced if you would close these files before updating them on Salesforce?
Since the issue isn't reproduced for us, we will appreciate any additional information.
Also, you can send a bug report directly from The Welkin Suite IDE after the issue would be reproduced the next time. This option is available for you in the menu Help -> Report a bug, please enable the checkboxes 'Attach log file' and for your email. This way we will get you log files to analyze them.
Thank you,
Kate

Hi Jeff,
I'm writing to ask you some additional information that can help us greatly.
If this is acceptable for you, can you please send us one more log file from your system? You can find the needed file the next way:
1. please open the LaunchPad, enter the 'Console' - the Console application would be opened;
2. at the left part, in the 'Reports' list, please select the 'System Reports' element;
3. in the items list, select the latest 'MonoDevelop_{date}.hang' item;
4. open the context menu for it and select the 'Reveal in Finder' item - this will open the Finder with the selected 'MonoDevelop_{date}.hang' file.
I want to draw your attention that the file will contain the necessary information after the issue would be reproduced, so please follow the steps after CPU would be increased the next time again.
Please send us this file via email.
Thank you for your collaboration greatly.
Best Regards,
Kate
