My password had expired in salesforce sandboxes and after some time finally got that resolved as changing the password would not let me log in. For the past couple days since, I'm greeted with "Your credentials for project have been expired. The current operation will be canceled. Please authroize." (Spelling and gramatical errors in the message).

I can continue working once I reauthenticate but it keeps happening whenever I open the welkin suite again the next morning.

      Hi Martin,

Thank you for contacting us with this.

May I please clarify if you have used the OAuth authentication for your project creation?

This message means that a session between the IDE and your Salesforce org was expired and this is necessary to re-authorize to refresh the connection. And this is not related to changing a password for your Salesforce sandbox.

Also, you can use the regular authentication with login, password, and security token during a project creation and the message won't appear.

If you have any additional questions, please let me know. I'll be happy to answer them.

      Regards,

      Kate

I believe this issue is related to my password expiring in salesforce as it happened as soon i opened the program and finding out my password was expired.

This is not a new project, and I'm a bit tired of creating a new project for every issue that comes up... it interferes with the local git repository and treats it as a new. There is no OAuth setup for the existing projects.

"Also, you can use the regular authentication with login, password, and security token during a project creation and the message won't appear." This is what I have... the message is appearing every time I open the program.

          Hi Martin,

Thank you for your response and for the clarification.

In this case, I kindly ask you to open the menu Project -> Properties, and please check if there are saved credentials for your Salesforce sandbox.

Also, I kindly ask you to send us a bug report with the attached log files directly from the IDE after the message would appear again (the option is present in the menu Help -> Report a Bug).

          Thank you,

          Kate

I manually entered the password into the project properties... it appears to have stopped the dialog from showing. I have also closed and reopened the software a couple times to confirm. Furthermore, I have sent a bug report as I believe when reauthorizing this information, the project properties should automatically be updated.

I wish mine would come up with a dialog.  All I get is aan Exception that says "Failed to login to server".  Usually it locks me out of my salesforce account.  I have updated the password and token in project properties as well.

I've been getting locked out as well... have to keep asking someone with permissions to reset my password... over and over again.

Honestly it seems easy enough to me.  If you get a login failure, pop up a box asking for new credentials, and actually try to login with them.  My problem with the properties box is that I dont think it actually attempts to login until you build something, and then it gets an error.

As it stands right now I am dead in the water with this product until I can get it to authenticate.

Heres what I've been doing to bypass it...

                      1) In the projects properties dialog, clear the password, apply and OK. Close the application.
                      2) if your actually locked out of your account, ask someone to reset your password... go through the password reset process...

                      3) Open the application again... and just click on the project in solution explorer... it should trigger "do you want to authenticate".

                      4) Enter password into browser to authenticate.

You should be able to use it again, up until it forgets your who you say you are. I'm not even sure I'm me anymore.

                        Hi Guys,

Just an update for you as I know how this issue might be annoying - the fix for it is already implemented and we're testing it to include it to the next release.

Thank you for all the information you've provided and for your patience.

                        Best Regards,

                        Vladimir
