    Hey folks,


    I'm running into an issue that I'm not sure is specific to my org, so I figured I would share it here.


    The error message in the attached file screenshot, is not representative of the failed deployment validation.  It would appear that there is a missing picklist value, but that is simply not the case.  Even when I add the supposed missing value to the picklist field, I receive the same error.  The API name listed is also the Record Type and not the custom field name.


    In overview:

    • The error message is innacurate.
    • Unable to determine root cause of deployment validation failure

      Thank you for your contacting us with this information.


      TWS gets all the errors that are present in the table from Salesforce. All of them are returned from the server.

      This is why we cannot describe the reason for the failed Deploy process more specifically.


      Our team is going to work on the Deploy functionality to improve it, so we will make everything possible to analyze such errors further.
