    Hi,

Since the most recent update (Version 0.24.5.4) I have to pull manually from my sandbox after each build. This is on a VF page I'm editing.

    1. Edit page file.

    2. Save and Build Selection (F5)

    3. All works as normal.

    4. Make another change.

    5. Save and Build Selection (F5)

    6. Error: "File has pending server changes. Please pull first." (Even though my build fully finished)

    7. Pull .page file from Salesforce. (Just a straight replace)

    8. Make changes again.

    9. Save and Build Selection (F5).

    10. All works as normal.

    11. Repeat starting at step 4.

Not sure if I missed something I'm supposed to change manually in my settings after latest version.

Thanks. Love your tool! This however is making it hard to code today. Help!

    -Steve

This only seems to happen with Visualforce pages. Editing Apex Classes doesn't exhibit the same issue.

        Hi Steve,

Looks like there is an issue with this logic right now after the last release.

Thank you for reporting this bug.

Can you please check your Pending Changes tool window (you can open it from the Main Menu -> View Pending Changes) and let us know what is displayed there? E.g. only file that you're changing, or some other files, or metadata files or anything else.

Also can you please help us investigating this issue and provide following information:

        1. Your TWS project was created in the latest version or in one of the previous versions?
        2. The file that you've changing - was it created after the project was created?
        3. If 2 is yes - was it created from TWS or from SF UI?

And as a last thing that I'll ask - can you please try doing all the steps you've described and then report us a bug using the TWS Main Menu -> Help -> Report a bug. Please ensure that "Attach Log file" checkbox is checked (you can review it content before sending to us, if you want).

As a workaround for you while we're working on investigating and fixing this issue you can try creating a project once more and work with it. There's a big probability that you won't face with this issue there.

        Thanks,

        Vladimir

          Hi Vladimir,

Thanks for the quick response. Here is the info you requested.

My Pending Changes window shows only my Visualforce page. When I use the compare button, I see only my change on my local version, there are no Salesforce side differences, not even a CR/LF difference that I can see.

          1. This TWS Project was created in a previous version.

          2. The file I'm changing was created in a previous version.

          3. It is a page that has been around for a while so it was originally created probably in Eclipse but came over with my project create in a previous version.

I have put in the bug report and clicked attach log file in the report.

Unfortunately when I pulled a fresh project and tried my test and it also failed with that new project.

Hopefully you can find the issue soon. I can go back to Eclipse as a back-up until you find the issue. I definitely prefer TWS to Eclipse but it isn't a big deal to swap back once a fix has been released.

Thanks and keep up the good work!!

          -Steve

P.S. Attached are screen shots of the error and my Pending Changes window.

            Hi Steve,

Thank you for the information provided. We've just released a hotfix update - it should be installed automatically soon, or you can uninstall previous version and install the new one manually.

For more details about the issue please check this topic.

Hope you was not too far with Eclipse :)

            Thanks,

            Vladimir

Awesome!! I'll let you know how it works after the hotfix!

No worries on Eclipse... If this works I'm back on TWS!

                Vladimir,

I've restarted TWS several times hoping to see the "TWS has been updated" message but it hasn't happened yet. Does TWS only look for updates once a day or something like that? I don't see a menu option for checking updates either.

Again, I'm not in an emergency state so I can wait for a morning update if that is what will happen. I'd rather do that than manually reinstall.

                Thanks!

                -Steve

                  Vladimir,

It just updated! I ran my tests again and it worked great!  Thanks again to you and your team for such a fast turn around and responsiveness. Keep this up and you guys will do well! Back to TWS!
