I have not yet managed to create  a project in 22.8.4 version. It gets stuck for several hours and never finishes.

      Hi ikljaic,

Are you able to cancel download process and send us a bug report with log attached? Or TWS is crashing when canceling when download is stuck?

      Thanks,

      Vladimir

        Hi ikljaic,

There may be some reasons for such behavior that we're aware right now (and fixes will be released tomorrow):

        • If credentials are incorrect
        • If credentials are correct but password has expired
        • If theres a file (likely Static Resource) with empty body

If you can ensure that everything is correct with credentials I'd like to ask you to send us logs if possible or wait for tomorrow's release and check if it would be fixed.

        Thanks,

        Vladimir

I went ahead and checked your suggestion, and could net find any of those cases. I've reported a bug with welkin and included the log

I still have this issue on 0.22.11. Where can I find the log file to send you?

Attempting to cancel project creation after it remains in-progress forever results in the attached exception.

I am having the same issue as above, and I updated to this version so that I can benefit from the Git integration. How do I find the error log?

                Hi Guys,

This issues with failing project download are not trivial to reproduce as at the current stage they're related to the specific orgs and something specific there. Unfortunately none of our environments that we are using for testing are not giving us the same behavior - this why we ask for your help in such cases.

We've recently identified a possible reason of such issues due to an exceptions returned by Salesforce for certain metadata types that you may select during project creations. So we have released an update yesterday with a possible fix.
Can you please verify the version of The Welkin Suite (it should be 0.22.13) and check the issue again.

Additionally We've enhanced logging for that processes so we'll get more information from the log files - this will allow us to analyze such cases quicker and with higher chance to succeed.
So if the case is reproduced I want to ask you to repeat attempt to create a project several times and then send a log.
You can do it the next way: Help -> Report a Bug. There you can describe additional details and ensure that ‘Attach Log file’ checkbox is marked.
It will help us a lot.

Although we hope that fix resolves all reasons of the case and look forward to your feedbacks.

                Thanks,
                Kate

I no longer have this issue on the latest version, and I was able to successfully create a project, thanks! An error was logged, though, so I have reported that.
