[Fixed] Deploy to Organization Fails

    Deploy to Organization Fails  
    1) Created a project from a sandbox org
    2) Clicked "Project"-> "Deploy To Organization"
    3) In "Deploy components to organization" window, the username/password were entered for a production environment. (No security token)
    4) Clicked "Next"
    5) Selected the visualforce page i wanted to deploy with the deploy (not validate only) option
    6) clicked "Next"
    7) "Object reference not set to an instace of an object error" shows up

     

    Is there a fix for this?

      We have got your bug report with the attached log file also.


      We have reproduced your issue, and Our developers are looking for the reason for this issue right now.

      I'll keep you updated when the issue will be solved and 'Deploy to Org' will be available for you again.

        Is there a workaround for this?  Not being able to deploy to different orgs significantly reduces the usability of the IDE.

          Greetings,


          Currently, our developers are working on this issue. The fix for this will be released on Monday.

          As a workaround, we can send on your email the previous version of the IDE, so that you could continue your working process till the 'Deployment to Organization' functionality will be available in TWS again.


          Please let us know is this workaround is acceptable for you.

                This version includes the fix for the issue related to the failed deploy to an organization.
