Hey there, I just installed the Welkin Suite and I get the exact same error and whenever I try to open a New Project it shows me this:

If you find the solution please share!, I'm trying to move out of Mavensmate and into this suite due to some very nice features that they announced.

      Cheers!

        Hi,

Thank you for letting us know about this issues.

We're trying to investigate and understand them, but I have small question which may help us doing this faster - do you have Microsoft Visual Studio installed on your PC's?

I'll keep you updated about investigation and fix status. If you'll have any questions or new comments about this issue - please let me know.

        Thanks,

        Vladimir

i had this same issue, and a similar one with the inability to create a new project. I do have visual studio community edition 2013 installed.

            Hi Guys,

            Same issue.

I'm on a brand new Window 8 Virtual Machine (on a Mac).

I also already had VS2013 community edition installed and all applicable updates etc.

Anyone found a workaround for this yet?

              Hi Guys,

Unfortunately there's no good news about this issue at the moment and I'm not aware about workarounds that may help in this case.

However we've raised priority of this issue and hopefully will fix it soon.

I'll keep you updated with any news.

              Thanks,

              Vladimir

                Hi Guys,

It'd be very helpful if you'll provide us exact version of the Visual Studio which is installed as it may seem that this behavior is reproduced only for Update 4.

You can check Visual Studio version in this way:

                1. Start Microsoft Visual Studio
                2. In the main menu navigate to "Help -> About Microsoft Visual Studio"
                3. Look for "Version 12.0.xxxxx.xx" string in the top part of the window.

                Thanks,

                Vladimir

                        Hi Guys,

I'm happy to announce that we've released new version of TWS which will (hopefully) fix your issues with installing TWS together with Visual Studio. You can read more about this release in our blog post.

Please try once more and let me know if everything is ok.

                        Thanks,

                        Vladimir
