FLS Bulk Apply not saving after hitting Apply

    I work in an org with hundreds of fields on the Account page. One issue I'm having is when Bulk Apply FLS for the Account object, it is not successfully updating. I tried updating just ~10 fields to see if the functionality is working as a whole and am happy to report that it is indeed working when I only select a few fields to update.

    Is there a technical limit to the number of fields able to updated at once?

      Hi Matt,


      Thank you for contacting us on this.


      I kindly ask you to send us a bug report with attached log files directly from the IDE - you can find this functionality in the menu Help -> Report a Bug, please specify your email and enable the 'Attach Log File' checkbox. 

      This way we would receive your TWS log files and they can help us to detect a reason for the issue.


      Also, can you please let me know if you are going to apply bulk changes for your profiles or for fields in the Account object?

      Is the issue reproduced for other objects?


      Looking forward to a bug report from you and we will be happy to solve the issue as soon as possible.

        I have replicated this issue using the Case object. I have taken the FLS from one profile and, using the "Bulk Apply To" feature, attempted to apply the FLS to a different profile. Upon hitting Apply and waiting for it process, I filtered down to the two profiles I am working with and discovered that it did not save the new FLS settings.

        I have submitted a bug report using the Report a Bug feature in the IDE.
