Thank you for your bug report.
May I please clarify with you if the issue is reproduced for all your TWS projects or for some of them? Is it reproduced after you re-open a project?
I kindly ask you to send us your TWS log files right after the issue will be reproduced again. To do this, please use the Main Menu -> Help -> Report a bug. You can paste the link to the current topic as a description, and please make sure that the 'Attach Log File' checkbox is enabled.
This will help us in the investigation process related to the issue you are faced with.

Thank you for your response.
Yes, these files are available for you the next way: ~/Library/Logs/. Please find 'The Welkin Suite' folder and send us it in an archive. All your TWS application log files are located there.
In addition, can you please tell me if you enable the 'Project structure sync' option when you create a new project on the Beta 5 version of TWS?
Thank you for your collaboration.

The log files are not attached to your post. May I please ask you to attach them one more time or you can send them to the firstname.lastname@example.org email.
If there is some issue that you cannot attach archive to the post, please let me know about this.

Thank you for your letter with the attached log files.
The reason for the issue you are faced with is that some files are absent locally in the project folder. In other words, some files are created and removed right after this, and this causes the hanging of the application during a project creation.
Our developers have started to investigate the reason for this and they will look for ways to solve this as soon as possible.
Currently, as a workaround, you can create an empty project (without any metadata files) and then add separate metadata types step by step in the 'Project Metadata Components' dialog. This will be available for you in the context menu of your created project in the Solution Explorer. I want to draw your attention that this is necessary to pull from Salesforce after modifying the Project metadata components list to get files to your TWS project.
If you will follow this way, and some of the added files would have the red mark in the Solution Explorer, please contact us.
If you have any additional questions, please contact me. I will be glad to help you.
