      Greetings,
      Thank you for your bug report.
      May I please clarify with you if the issue is reproduced for all your TWS projects or for some of them? Is it reproduced after you re-open a project?

      I kindly ask you to send us your TWS log files right after the issue will be reproduced again. To do this, please use the Main Menu -> Help -> Report a bug. You can paste the link to the current topic as a description, and please make sure that the 'Attach Log File' checkbox is enabled.
      This will help us in the investigation process related to the issue you are faced with.

      Thank you,
      Kate

              Hi,

              Thank you for your response.

              Yes, these files are available for you the next way: ~/Library/Logs/. Please find 'The Welkin Suite' folder and send us it in an archive. All your TWS application log files are located there.

              In addition, can you please tell me if you enable the 'Project structure sync' option when you create a new project on the Beta 5 version of TWS?

              Thank you for your collaboration.

              Regards,

              Kate

                    Hi Robert,

                    Thank you for your letter with the attached log files.

                    The reason for the issue you are faced with is that some files are absent locally in the project folder. In other words, some files are created and removed right after this, and this causes the hanging of the application during a project creation.

                    Our developers have started to investigate the reason for this and they will look for ways to solve this as soon as possible.

                    Currently, as a workaround, you can create an empty project (without any metadata files) and then add separate metadata types step by step in the 'Project Metadata Components' dialog. This will be available for you in the context menu of your created project in the Solution Explorer. I want to draw your attention that this is necessary to pull from Salesforce after modifying the Project metadata components list to get files to your TWS project.

                    If you will follow this way, and some of the added files would have the red mark in the Solution Explorer, please contact us.

                    If you have any additional questions, please contact me. I will be glad to help you.

                    Thank you,

                    Kate

                      I am having the same issue on my Mac.  Every time I attempt to save or deploy I get the spinner.  I cannot find a Welkin Suite folder in my Logs folder.  Could you help me troubleshoot this issue?  I really like The Welkin Suite but this error makes it unusable.

                      Thanks

                        Greetings,

                        Thank you for contacting us on this.

                        I kindly ask you to check if the next action would help to solve the issue:

                        please open The Welkin Suite Blaze menu -> Preferences -> Projects -> Load/Save, and please disable the 'Always create backup copy' checkbox.

                        After this, please check if the issue would be reproduced.

                        Looking forward to your response and hope this would help.

                        Thank you,

                              I'm having the same problem. WelkinSuite is completely unresponsive for me when loading a project on the newest Mac release. The "Always create backup copy" setting was already disabled for me so that did not resolve this issue. I have attached my log files.

                              Thanks.

                                Hi Tim,

                                Thank you for your post and for the additional info.

                                According to your TWS log files, we can see that there are duplicated entries related to the 'emailToCaseContactByType_Test.cls-meta.xml' file.

                                So I kindly ask you to follow these steps to solve the issue:

                                1. first of all, please update your TWS version to the Blaze R16 - we have released it recently, and this version contains the extended logging for the issue when duplicated files/entries appear;
                                2. after this, please open your project folder and find the *.sfproj file;
                                3. please open it using any text editor and check if there are duplicated entries about this meta.xml file (emailToCaseContactByType_Test.cls-meta.xml);
                                4. delete duplicated entries;
                                5. open your project again.

                                In the case, if the issue is reproduced after this actions, please create a new project and send us a bug report with attached log files after the same issue occurs again for this newly created project.

                                To send a bug report, after restarting the IDE please navigate to the menu Help -> report a Bug, please describe your actions, specify your email, and enable the 'Attach Log File' checkbox.

                                Looking forward to your response.

                                Thank you,
