Hi,

I use OAuth to login to my org with welkin.

Recently it started behaiving very strange - no login screen poups, and when i try to build i get this message:

    "

Checking if the changed files have pending server changes [10:47:18.433].

File 'classes\SomeController.cls' has pending server changes."

    Time Elapsed 00:00:00.450

Done building project "Project.sfproj" -- FAILED.

However when i pull chnages from org - it says all files are up to date.

      Hi Roman,

Thank you for your contacting us with this issue.

May I please clarify with you if you have pulled whole your TWS project or just some files after the failed build process in this case?

In addition, I kindly ask you to answer the next questions to help us to find the reason for your issue:

      1) Can you please tell me what actions have you done with the 'classes\SomeController.cls' file before? Was this class just created in TWS, or have you pulled it from Salesforce and built previously?

      2) Did the failed build process include the 'classes\SomeController.cls' file only or there were other files also? If there were other files, can you please discard changes for the SomeController.cls (Main Menu -> Pending Changes -> Discard near this class, you can save the code changes in any text editor) and build all other files. Does the build fail in this case?

      3) Were there any other errors during previous building this file?

We will appreciate your help in our investigation process related to this issue greatly.

      Thank you,

      Kate

        Hi Kate,

        Thanks for your reply.

        see my answers below:

        1. Class was pulled from SF previously, like month ago. I was pulling entire project.

        2. Build process included 6 file all of them interdependent.

        3. There were no errors with this file before.

Also issue is now resolved with following workaround: I added one space to this file in SF and then pull process went succesfully, all changes were taken from SF (there were 20 items changed from SF, but oddly enought ,not recognized by TWS prior this action)

          Hi Roman,

Thank you for your detailed response and for sharing the found workaround for this issue.

We are glad that you can continue your working process.

Our developers are going to investigate the issue when TWS doesn't recognize changes in project files on Salesforce and doesn't pull them. In a frame of this, I kindly ask you to send us your log files so I could include them to this investigation process. You can do this the following way: please open Main Menu -> Help -> Report a Bug, you can paste the link to this topic as a description, and please ensure that the 'Attach Log File' checkbox is enabled.

This will help us to find the reason for the issue you are faced with and to solve this.

          Thank you,

          Kate
