In fact, all Objects from the org are being displayed, and Project selection and 'Refresh' button do not help to filter only to the objects selected in this project.

In case your solution has multiple projects in it, we did everything to help you avoid the mixup in the Schema Explorer data. To make this real, we added the filer to the top of the Schema Explorer window, which lets you change the list of object for the needed project. After switching to another project, you need to click the ‘Refresh’ button, and the list of objects will be reloaded.

      Hi Oleksiy,

Thank you for your contacting us with this information.

May I please clarify with you if you need the list of object files which are downloaded to your TWS project only?

In the list of objects in the Schema Explorer, TWS provides you with all the objects that are available for creating in your Organization even if some of them are not created in your Salesforce Org.

After switching between your project in The Welkin Suite Schema Explorer the list of these files is changed according to the objects that are available for each of your projects.

Since the list of objects is changed after switching a project in the Schema Explorer for us, I kindly ask you to provide us with any additional information about the issue you are faced with. We will appreciate your help in our investigation process.

      Thank you,

      Kate

        Hi Kate,

It just doesn't filter the list when I select project and hit Refresh - showing all available objects.

          Hi Oleksiy,

          Thank you for your response.

When you use the 'Refresh' option the data related to the objects in the Schema Explorer is reloaded: if there are newly available objects on your Org they will be added to the list, and if some data or properties are changed on the Org this will be refreshed inside TWS.

The filter for projects is implemented for the case when you use several projects in your solution in the IDE to switch the list of objects according to the selected projects.

As a side note, in the nearest version of The Welkin Suite, the search filter for the objects in the Schema Explorer will be available for you.

May I please clarify with you if you need the separate filter for downloaded to your project objects? If this is true, I'll add this feature request to our Backlog.

          Thank you,

          Kate

I must interpreted incorrectly the statement that the list of Object gets filtered to the only objects selected in the project metadata, so I was expecting to see only 11 objects i checked when was filtering, but it always was returning all objects available in the org.

By now, something happened and Schema Explorer is only showing all objects available for one project but none for another - see attached - these are 2 very similar projects, but different sandboxes...

              Hi Oleksiy,

              Thank you for this information.

May I please ask you if you have used the OAuth authentication for the creation of your 'Accrual - part' project?

The reason for the issue related to the empty list of objects in the Schema Explorer can be expired credentials.

This is why I kindly ask you to re-open your project inside The Welkin Suite if you have used the OAuth authentication. If you have created this project using the usual way of authentication, please refresh your credential in the project Properties. This menu is available for you in the context menu of your project in the Solution explorer.

If these steps don't help you to solve your issue, please send us a bug report directly from the IDE after the issue is reproduced. This functionality is available for you in the Main Menu -> Help -> Report a bug. You can enter the link to this topic as a description of your issue. Please enter your email for our feedback and check the 'Attach Log File' checkbox. We will get you log file that will help us to understand the reason for the issue.

              Thank you,

              Kate
