    Hi,

I try to start a Salesforce DX project within welkin suite but, it appears TWS doesn't detect the salesforce cli. Th organisation manager desperately says SFDC CLI is not installed. Please get it from the Salesforce website.

But the Salesforce cli is installed, opening a powershell command I can use sfdx properly.

Is there something I missed in configuration?

      Hi Yohann,

Thank you for contacting us on this.

I kindly ask you open your command line and execute the next command: sfdx

Please send us a screen of the result that you will get.

One of the possible reasons for the issue could be that TWS cannot find the Salesforce CLI location to launch it.

You can re-install the IDE with the built-in CLI settings and please check if you would be able to create a Salesforce DX project after this.

      Looking forward to your response.

      Thank you,

      Kate

        Hi Kate,

I attached the command line screen below. Could it be a missing declaration somewhere in the environment variable so that TWS can't reach sfdx?

          Kate,

I uninstalled everything TWS, existing sfdx and node.js, then reinstall TWS including sfdx and node, and it worked.

            Hi Yohann,

Thank you for your response and for the update.

I'm happy to hear that the re-installation helped and now you can start working on your SFDX project directly from The Welkin Suite IDE.

You can find all the information about Salesforce DX features in TWS here.

We will take into account the issue that you were faced with and we will look for a reason for this.

If you would have any additional questions - please let me know. I'll be happy to assist.

            Regards,
            Kate
