    Hello,

    I have the strange behaviour after updating TWS to new version
    Some panels show and error:
    An exception was encountered while constructing the content of this frame.  This information is also logged in "\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\AppEnv\12.0\ActivityLog.xml".
    [attachment=74:ActivityLog.xml]

    Exception details:
    System.Runtime.InteropServices.COMException (0x80004005): Error HRESULT E_FAIL has been returned from a call to a COM component.
       at Microsoft.VisualStudio.Shell.Interop.IVsShell5.LoadPackageWithContext(Guid& packageGuid, Int32 reason, Guid& context)
       at Microsoft.VisualStudio.Platform.WindowManagement.WindowFrame.GetPackage()
       at Microsoft.VisualStudio.Platform.WindowManagement.WindowFrame.ConstructContent()

    Reistalling VS Shell and TWS and restarting PC did not help.

      Hi Victor,

      Thank you for this bug report with the attached log file.

      Some instances and packages are not loaded correctly for you.

      I kindly ask you to tell me the next things:

      • What way did you use for the uninstall of the IDE?
      • Did you delete all the TWS settings during the removing of TWS?

      Our team is going to investigate your issue related to the TWS packages.

      If this is possible, can you please make one more uninstall of the IDE with all its settings? After this you should go to the C:\Program Files(x86)\The Welkin Suite and delete all the files if there are any.

      As a side note, I'll keep you updated if we will have any information on this issue.

      Thank you,

      Kate

        Hi Kate.

        I tried one more time with your recomendations (previously I used only uninstall wizard).
        This time after using standard uninstall wizard for both VS IsoShell and TWS, I removed their folders from program files (Here I had a problem with autoupdater that was still running. Maybe that was the reason?).
        Also cleaned up the %appdata% folder. After restaring PC I reinstalled the latest TWS version and problem has gone.

        Thanks for help, but it would be nice if you will try to check what could cause that problem.

          Kate
