    Hello,

Usually when files are deleted on the server, tws updates the list properly. But now I have a trigger which is deleted on the server, but tws refuses to update the files in the project list and doesn't delete the file locally. I tried to delete the file in tws myself, but then I get the message that I don't have sufficient rights to do this. So I deleted the file locally via windows explorer, but in tws the trigger still shows up in the file list. Now I can't even select it anymore, since I get an error that the item doesn't exit anymore in the project directory. But the file is still there in file list and I'm not able to delete it nor update it. What should I do?

      Hi Frank,

Thank you for contacting us with this.

I kindly ask you to send us a bug report directly from the IDE with attached log files, so that we could analyze them and find a reason why TWS didn't update the list of files properly when there was a deleted file and didn't delete this file. Also, we would be able to see a reason why you couldn't delete this files directly from TWS.

After you deleted the file manually from a project folder, an information about it stayed in the project file and this is why this file is still present in the list - TWS doesn't check file's location in this case.

You can open the project file (it is also present in a project folder - '*.sfproj' file) and delete all the entries about the deleted trigger. Then please re-open the project.

Also, as a workaround, you can disable the Apex Trigger metadata in the Project Metadata Components wizard, click 'Apply' - files will be removed from your TWS project, then enable the Apex Trigger metadata again and pull from salesforce - this way you would re-download all the trigger files that are present in your org.

      Hope this would help.

      Thank you,

      Kate
