    Hello Team,

    First of all I want to tell that I absolutely love TWS and all the new features in it. :)

    But upgrading to new versions is always a headache to me. 


    Looks like update service is working incorrectly - from time to time it does not upgrade automatically. Even if it does - TWS work incorrectly (not opening old projects, not building).


    So when new version of TWS is out and I see some strange behavior I do:
    -  Recreate project from scratch - deleting the old one.

    When it does not help or Welkin Suite is not upgraded automatically:

    - Shut down the TheWelkinSuiteAutoUpdater service

    - Uninstall from programs list.

    - Delete program folder.

    - Delete everything related to Welkin in \AppData\
    (My system is Windows 8.1 Pro.)

    As feature request:
    Could you please make something like "Force upgrade" for the IDE itself and probably for projects.

      Hi Victor,


      Thank you for your kind words about TWS and for your detailed information.


      Since this is impossible for us to reproduce this issue, I kindly ask to send us your 'log.txt' file that is created by the TWS auto-updater service. This file you can find in the %Program Files (x86)%\The Welkin Suite\The Welkin Suite\UpdaterService folder.


      Please send us this file after the next version of TWS will be available, but the IDE won't be updated for you correctly.


      Our developers will work on the issues related to the automatical update of TWS.


      We will discuss your suggestion about the 'Force upgrade' functionality.


      I'll keep you updated about any results of our investigations.

         Hello Kate,

        I checked that folder and there is only "WelkinSuite.AutoUpdater.exe" file.

        As you can see from screenshot the TWS did not update again.

        I looked into services list and autoupdater is running. Restarting service, IDE and PC did had no affect.

          Our developers will work on this issue.

          In the nearest version of TWS, we are going to implement the changes related to the 'log.txt' file. As a result, we will have an ability to get information that should be stored there.
