    Hi guys,

I open the schema explorer, then let's say I don't remember a field name, so I start typing it, like "CommentCount". The schema explorer filters the treeview and I can see the field below the UserFeed object.

Now that I've found it, I want to see the entire UserFeed object, to use other fields or whatever, but if I clear the filter, the schema explorer goes back to the initial state, showing the first objects (Account etc), collapsed. In a very large org, this means the search tool is not usable, because once I found my field, it will take ages to scroll down to the UserFeed object.

I'm not sure whether it's an issue or intentional, anyway I think the clear filter action should not reset the treeview, selection should stay where it is.

Or maybe I'm using it the wrong way. :-)

    Francesco

      Hi Francesco,

Thank you for reporting this issue to us.

You are right - this is not intended to be this way. It's absolutely logical to keep the currently selected item on your screen even after clearing the filter.

We'll add the fix for this to one of the nearest sprints.

      Thank you,

      Vladimir
