    Hello all,

    I really enjoy the Welkin Suite product but I have now run into an error that is preventing me from using this IDE. When I try and build my project, I am frequently getting the following error:

    The Welkin Suite has encountered following exception(s) during the build:Character reference "&#xB" is an invalid XML character.

    I see no references of this character and I am able to compile these classes using the Developer Console.

    Please advise as this is causing significant problems to my productivity.

    Thanks,

    Clark

      Hi Clark,

      Thank you for contacting us with this issue.

      A reason for the failed build is caused by the escaped symbol "&#xB" that means line tabulation. It is present in some file(s) that you are building.

      When the build would be failed, please check which exactly file(s) was included in this build and follow the next steps to solve the issue:

      1. please copy a content of the file to any text editor (like notepad++, sublime, etc.) and enable displaying special characters;
      2. find this symbol;
      3. delete it (of course, if this is acceptable to you);
      4. save the code and copy it to the IDE.

      Please let me know if you will be able to build the file in TWS after this.

      Thank you,

      Kate

        Hello Kate,

        I was not able to find the character in question but was able to fix this issue by removing all the comment headers to my methods. They were oddly formatted.

        Thanks,

        Clark

          Hi Clark,

          Thank you for your update.

          I'm happy to hear that now you can continue your working process in TWS without issues.

          We will look for a way how we can detect such cases and handle them.

          Have a nice day!

          Regards,

          Kate
