    Hi there,

It's not such a big deal manually adding the extends A and implements B,C,... on the template class that gets generated from the Add Class dialog but I was thinking if we did have the options in the dialog to specify a class to extend and/or interfaces to implement then the generated class could also define default implementations for all the abstract methods in the base class (if it's an abstract class) and all the interfaces listed in the dialog. Kind of follows on from the feature request to have a right mouse click option to implement interfaces/abstract methods that was posted a while back, maybe once that feature is implemented this could then be implemented on the back of that change?

    Cheers,

    Donnie

      Hi Donnie,

Thanks for the interesting idea. We'll discuss it with the team and possibly implement it (as you've correctly said) after completing "implement interface/abstract class" features.

Trying to weight now the pros and cons in terms of number of actions needed with such wizard and without it (as well as "selecting a class/interface" versus "typing it in") - seems to be in balance for now, so we'll think more about this idea. Anyway it sounds interesting and I believe that at least something inspired by it we will do :)

      Thank you,

      Vladimir
