I switch between my desktop and laptop frequently, and whenever I do, I am required by TWS to enter my credentials again. It would be nice to have these autocomplete somehow. I use LastPass but it doesn't seem to autocomplete in TWS application login window.

I suppose if I bought another license this would solve the problem, but I think this use case should be covered by one license, just wish the signin wasn't required several times a day. Can TWS recognize the two machines I regularly use, in an overlapping fashion, but with only one keyboard at a time, or allow operation on two devices, rather than just one. Maybe I am missing an easy way to avoid or autocomplete the login screen...

      Hi Kurt,

Thank you for contacting us with this question.

For security reasons, you can have only one active TWS session and this is why you are logged out from your previous TWS session on another device.

We are considering how we can change this mechanism to avoid this annoying log in each time and keep the account security as a priority at the same time.

As a side note, we would greatly appreciate if you could describe your flow and the case when you frequently use different devices for The Welkin Suite IDE. This will help us to find and implement the most convenient way to resolve the situation.

      Thank you,

      Kate

Thanks Kate. That would be helpful to have the values autopopulate. Ideally, I would like the TWS to figure out I code from two machines (two MACs) and allow this behaviour. Not sure if this is possible in the back end, but that would be ideal.

My workflow is simply that I like to work from different locations, not just my desk. I code on my laptop usually once a day, so this results in 2 or 3 logins on a bad day. Not a big deal, just seems like an easy win for TWS in terms of improved usability. Let me know if there is any updates:)
