Is there a way to "re-point" an existing solution to a different SalesForce server, and then push everything to that other server?

      Hi Michael,

      Thank you for your question.

Currently, there is no ability to track this changes inside TWS. After a Salesforce server is changed for your Organization, all the files have new IDs, in the IDE these IDs are previous ones. This is why the data in your TWS project cannot be related to your Org further, for the push operation, for example.

We will discuss ways and abilities to implement your feature request inside The Welkin Suite IDE.

I'll contact you when we will find any decisions. Currently, I'm afraid I cannot tell you when this is possible.

      Regards,

      Kate

This is a dealbreaker for our company. Developers are often working out of multiple sandboxes and thus need to be able to switch between them. Current it looks like the only way to do so is to create a new project? This would also require that git repos are duplicated across each project (not a good practice). I tried to update the creditentials to change sandboxes and clean, but my files did not properly refresh.

          Hi cjonas,

In Windows version situations when developers have to work with multiple projects and regularly switch between them are handled with a multi-project support in soution. Using this approach developers are able to create multiple projects within the same solution (for example create a project for Production org as well as multiple Sandboxes) and the whole solution can be stored in the Git. Right now this functionality is not yet implemented in The Welkin Suite for Mac Beta, however it will be implemented before the full production release.

Can you please describe your use case in some more details so I can understand the git duplication scenario you have mentioned?

Looking forward hearing back from you.

          Thank you,

          Vladimir
