    Dear TWS Admins,

I don't know if this was requested before.

When I save a file, TWS searches for changes which is very good.

But the problem comes when I save a file and that file (the one which I want to save) was not modified before (That is I have the latest version) and other files in the environment changed, I get the error "Pull changes Before". Therefore each time I need to pull the changes which does not affect my file(VF page) before saving as there is another developer working in the environment

So my point is to request you if you can prevent saving only when the files to be saved is not the same as in salesforce. Yes it should display that there are changes in the environment but only prevent saving if the files that I have to save has been changed in salesforce.

    Thanks in advance

      Hi ashbet,

Looks like there is an issue with this logic right now after the last release. Originally this logic is working exactly as you've described in your request.

Thank you for reporting this bug.

Can you please check your Pending Changes tool window (you can open it from the Main Menu -> View Pending Changes) and let us know what is displayed there? E.g. only file that you're changing, or some other files, or metadata files or anything else.

Also can you please help us investigating this issue and provide following information:

      1. Your TWS project was created in the latest version or in one of the previous versions?
      2. The file that you've changing - was it created after the project was created?
      3. If 2 is yes - was it created from TWS or from SF UI?

As a workaround for you while we're working on investigating and fixing this issue you can try creating a project once more and work with it. There's a big probability that you won't face with this issue there.

      Thanks,

      Vladimir

          Hi Vladimir,

Files in pending changes: Only the file that I have modified and needs to be saved (The VisualForce page only)

TWS Project was created with previous version of TWS and then with the latest update of TWS, it was updated

The file I am saving was created after the project was created on TWS

The file itself was created in TWS

And one thing I wanted to say is that the VisualForce Page was created with ANSI Encoding and I had to change it to UTF-8 by "Advance Save Options", does TWS create pages/class in UTF-8 by default ?

          Thanks Vladimir
