The release of the new Salesforce DX is the first game-changer in a long time when it comes to development on the Salesforce platform.  What are TWS's plans to leverage and integrate new DX features into the IDE?

      Hi Brent,

Thank you for this question :)

We are working very hard right now to bring the SFDX support in TWS as soon as we can (but still, making it "our way"). In general we are thinking about ~2 weeks timeline to release it, however it might be changed both ways, depending on the situation.

I believe we'll come up with some articles early next week about our vision how we'll make it in TWS + we consider publishing a couple articles regarding the SFDX itself and the best (from our point of view, of course) use cases and scenarios in the coming week (but not promisig anything - safe harbor :)).

In case you have anything particular in mind, like scenarios that you'd like to see, features, UX improvements over the general SFDX approach or anything else - please feel free to post them here or email me vladimir.gubanovich@welkinsuite.com

      Thank you,

      Vladimir

        Hi Brent,

I'm happy to let you know that now you can check Salesforce DX features in The Welkin Suite Bloom!

Also, you can find a short description of the implemented DX functionality in the 'Welcome to Salesforce DX in The Welkin Suite Bloom R6' article in our blog.

We will be happy to hear your feedback, suggestions, or use cases regarding Salesforce DX in The Welkin Suite.

        Best Regards,

        Kate
