    Hi there,

we're working with multiple developers on one project. Every dev has her own Org.

We're merging our changes via Git. That all works fine except updating each other's project structure without overwriting something.

    • If I use my TWS structure file, all new elements coming from git will not be structured for me
    • If I use the Git file, my structure will be modified to match the one of the person who last commited to Git.

It would be great if we would be able to merge our changes.

    Regards

    Chris

      Hi Chris,

Thank you for letting us know about your scenario.

In general the project structure sync option was intended mostly for those teams that does not use Git or any other version control in their flow. The main place where the project structure is stored is *.sfproj file. In your case it might make sense to disable project structure sync for all developers and merge changes in the *.sfproj file as needed, so the whole team will have the same structure, no matter what orgs they are using.

Please let me know if this solution works for you, otherwise we'll try to find out the way how you can achieve the result you want :)

      Thank you,

      Vladimir
