I work with a 3rd party tool called SKUID which stores its meta data as XML files. I'd like to be able to store those XML files into a folder (via a copy and paste) within the Welkin IDE to keep with the rest of the project.

When I right click on a folder and click to add a new item I am not able to find an option for XML (or text) files. Is there a way to do this?

      Hi Joseph,

      Thank you for your question.

Currently, there is no ability to add 3rd party tool files to TWS project. It can include supported metadata types files, SOQL queries, Anonymous Apex, and logs from your Salesforce Organization.

We will discuss adding this functionality for extending the IDE's options.

      Regards,

      Kate

        Thank you for the response.

I think this would be super useful. I really like how I can store SOQL queries and Anon Apex with the project even though they are not part of the instance. Being able to store JSON, XML, TEXT and JavaScript within the folder structure would also be ideal.
