Hello The Welking Suite team !

I write this post because when i tried to change the metadata of an Apex trigger on my full sandbox environment from 'Active' to 'Deleted' and press F5.

My Apex trigger disappeared from my organization.

But i need to deploy them to the Production environment in order to remove them from there.

However i can't see them anymore to add them to a changeset, we come to my question how do we deploy deleted trigger from a full sandbox to a Production org with the Welking Suite ??

Please, help me is you have the answer !

      Greetings,

Thank you for your contacting us with your question.

Currently, TWS doesn't support using the destructive options for deployment process. We are going to implement this in future versions of The Welkin Suite IDE.

You can use the ANT Migration Tool for this process: https://developer.salesforce.com/page/Propagating_Destructive_Changes

If you have any additional questions, please contact us. We will be happy to answer them.

      Regards,

      Kate

So from what I understand this is now available with Welkin Suite but why is it when I change status to Active to Deleted or Inactive it reverts back to Active after I hit f5?  Is there a step I am missing?

        Thank you

          Hi Derrick,

          Thank you for your question.

Currently, TWS still doesn't support destructive changes. This is present in or plans, and I will let you know when you will be able to change status for your files directly from the IDE.

          Regards,

          Kate

Thanks for letting me know.  I assumed it was available because I first read this THREAD, and the last response on that thread said it was now available but maybe I read that wrong.

            Thanks,

            Derrick

              Hi Derrick,

Thank you for clarifying the context.

Yes, in a frame of the deployment process, you can update your files with their status, however, this is not available via building functionality.

Please let me know if the steps described by Vladimir here would help you to handle this case and if this is what you are looking for.

              Thank you,

              Kate
