    I have a few questions:

    1. I do not see a way to search the Welkin Suite forum. How do I do this?

    2. When I try to debug a unit test I get the following message: "We are not able to prepare the debug session. Please try once more or contact TheWelkin Suite support"

    3. When I try debugging from a log file I get the following message: "We have encountered an issue performing your request. Please try once ore contact The Welkin Suite support for assistance".


    I have set the default log levels to the Retrospective Debugger log levels.

    Any help would be appreciated.

      Hi Joseph,


      Thank you for your post.

      To search on the Forum, you can use the general search option which is available for you in the main menu of the site. Search results are separated into different sections and one of them is Forum.

      As for the failed debugging process for your test and log files, we have been faced with this issue last days. The reason for this is related to some entries in your Salesforce log files which TWS doesn't recognize or doesn't detect some relations between these entries. This is why the IDE cannot parse the log file correctly and start debugging process.
      Our developers are working on handling such cases, and we are going to cover all the possible situations which fail the debug process now.

      I will contact you via email to ask some additional information.
      We would greatly appreciate your help in our investigation related to this issue.

        I too am receiving this error message.


        "We are not able to prepare the debug session. Please try once more or contact TheWelkin Suite support"


        No matter how many times I try to debug it fails... just started this morning. Has been working very well and the only thing I did was pull from salesforce prior to testing.


        I've made a backup of the log files to see if it would regenerate them but that didn't work.

          Thank you for contacting us with this.



          Looks like there is some case in your Salesforce log file which the IDE doesn't handle to start debugging process. We were faced with such issues and our developers worked on covering all the known cases, and we will be glad to investigate this case and handle it also.

          Is the issue reproduced for all your log files or for some of them?


          I kindly ask you to send us a bug report with the attached TWS log files directly from the IDE - you can find this option in the menu Help -> Report a Bug, please enable the 'Attach Log File' checkbox and put your email. This will help us greatly to find a reason for the failed starting of the debug process.
