May I please clarify with you if you had any version of TWS installed on your machine previously? If yes, what was this version? Have you uninstalled it before new installation?

Please send us the installation log file ('TWS_Installation.log') that you can find in your %temp% folder. This will help us to understand the reason for the error that you got. You can attach it here or send to 'info@welkinsuite.com'.


The Beta version of The Welkin Suite IDE is not updated anymore and only available installer for this is the 0.30.17.4 one. This is the same as you have. Would you like me to send you the link to it?

Anyway, the best way to evaluate TWS with other IDEs is to use its latest versions with newly implemented features, updates, and fixes. You can find the list of these changes here.

Those of us, at my company, who've been trying TWS have been using the beta version. We are currently only interested in evaluating the features included in the beta. I'm a fan of TWS so I'm keen to get this install working to keep it in the running.
