    Hello,

    Using the new OAuth feature I noticed it times out after a certain amount of time. When trying to build it gives an authentication error.

    I couldn't find an option to re-authenticate. I've been saving, closing the project/solution, then re-opening which prompts for authentication. Then build.


    Is there:

    1. A way to refresh/force authentication when it's been timed out?

    2. A way to convert a project from OAuth to saved credentials?

      Hi Derhyk,


      Thank you for your contacting us with this information.


      There is the issue related to the ability to re-authenticate after your OAuth credentials have been expired. Our developers are working on this. One of the nearest versions of TWS will include this fix.


      This why currently, the re-opening of your project is the only one way to enter your credentials repeatedly.


      You can convert your project from OAuth credentials to the saved ones using the following way: please open the context menu of your project in the Solution Explorer, select 'Properties' menu; there you will see the 'Login Credentials' section; please enter you credentials and click 'Apply'.


      I'll keep you updated when this issue will be solved.

            Ho Roman,



            Thank you for your comment.

            We have done some changes related to this functionality, however currently issue isn't solved.

            I kindly ask you to check the 'Login Credentials' section in the project's Properties menu. If there are some data, please remove it and click 'Apply', re-open your project after this.



            If this won't solve your issue, please remove the 'tws.wallet.bin' file that is available for you in the %ProgramData%\TheWelkinSuite\ folder. This file contains a data about used OAuth authentication.



            Please let us know if this is acceptable for you and if this help to solve your issue.

                Hi Kate, Issue is still there. Is it possible to add a button OAuthLogin, so we can do it manually when we need it? Right now i'm forced to restart welkin, and it is not very convinient. Regards, Roman
