      Hi Ram,

Thank you for your contacting us with this question.

Please open your Anonymous Apex file in the Editor (double-click on it) and you will see the Command bar on the top. The 'Execute Anonymous Apex' option is present here.

      Regards,

      Kate

        Hi Kate,

        Thanks for the reply.

I'm still unable to find it. I tried searching for Anonymous Apex in the Solution explorer on the right panel. I found a folder 'Anonymous Apex' when I double-click on it nothing happens. Could you please tell me if I'm doing something wrong? Also, if you can send me some screenshot of what you are trying to explain that would be helpful.

        Regards,

        Ram

          Hi Ram,

          Thank you for your post.

The folder is empty because you haven't any Anonymous Apex files in your project.

Please, click right in the Solution Explorer on your project or on any folder and select  Add -> New Item. As a result, you will see the wizard for the creation files in the IDE. You should select the first one - Anonymous Apex.anonymous and specify a name for it. Please, click 'Add' and the file will be created.

Now you will see it in the 'Anonymous Apex' folder.

After this you can open this file in the Editor and use the 'Execute Anonymous Apex' option.

          I've attached the screens:

          •  the Anonymous Apex file in the Solution Explorer;
          • the 'Execute Anonymous Apex' option in the Editor.

Please let me know if the issue is solved for you after all these steps.

          Thank you,

          Kate
